I bought a new Lenovo laptop and I love it even though I haven't figured out Windows 11 yet. My PC will not get as much use and I will be taking my laptop on trips, again. Its much lighter! I bought my last laptop in around 2008.

Good processor, decent amount of memory. Win 11 is not really much different from Win 10. Some things have gone through cosmetic and location changes and others have been combined but overall, the learning curve is pretty short.

I have an old lap top and two PCs. The PC in CA is a Dell that I love but it's from 2008 and runs on a Windows that will no longer be supported. It can't be upgraded. My CO PC is on another Windows. This laptop is on Win 11 and I had no idea how to make the screen move. My honey was over and he showed my it's like my cellphone with a touch screen. Oh! Nice!

Depending on the amount of memory in the Dell, it may run Win 10.which will be supported until 2025. Windows 11 requires a TPM(Trusted Platform Module) which is a security feature. You might be able to update it to Windows 10 if you really want to go to the trouble.

I'm okay with what's on it but thank you for the info.
