Yea don't tell me Aquaman isn't real.....
I read his books.
Kept them right next to my fine literature collection of Classics Illustrated. The playboys were down at the bottom....

Submariner could kick Aquaman's ass with one gill tied behind his back.

I still think it should be Kermit the Frog. It's not easy being green.

People belong to Class Mammalia, and newts belong to Class Amphibia, so it's not likely that's going to happen without some extensive genetic engineering.

BTW, most adult amphibians have lungs and carry out gas exchange the same way as humans. In most cases only the juvenile form of amphibians have gills.
Ha! Human ebryos have gill structures too. The only real difference here is the stage at which the organism abandons the gills for lungs. A meaningless distinction.

Newt for President. And frogs too!

Sorry, but human embryos only have pharygeal slits that only slightly resemble gill slits and they're transitory in nature. They don't have anything in the way of actual gill structures. The same goes for all other vertebrate embryos with the exception of fish and amphibs who retain those slits throughout embryonic development.

No they wouldn't, they've met me. I've taught and researched Developmental Bio. for years, and nothing I've learned about the subject supports anything they have to say on the subject.
