Definitely post up those pictures!

I'm actually going to see NHRA drag racing, Indy Car, NASCAR, and ALMS. I just need to get some two wheel action (and not the drag bikes), and I'll feel like a pretty complete racing summer

Btw, my sister has that lens and she loves it

I think you are going to LOVE it, Bill! Congrats on the purchase, and post up when it arrives!

While you wait, get the user's guide download from Ken Rockwell's site - lots of GREAT info there.

You got a nice deal! I got my 18-200 VR when they were new and in short supply and paid $1k for it alone. Never regretted a dime of that purchase, either.

if it wasn't gray market, it should.

according to nikon usa
included accessories:
* EN-EL9 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery
* MH-23 Quick Charger
* UC-E4 USB Cable
* Software Suite CD-ROM
* DK-16 Rubber Eyecup
* AN-DC1 Camera Strap
* BF-1A Body Cap
* DK-5 Eyepiece Cap
* BS-1 Accessory Shoe Cap

there are some sleezeball online dealers that want to charge you for that stuff.

*Supplied accessories may differ depending on country or area.

Perhaps a dumb question, but what's an eyepiece cap?

A piece of rubber that goes on where the eyepiece is so you can wear your glasses and not scratch them.
