Nissan Juke - anyone looked at one
For reasons too complicated to explain we've sent the '02 PT Cruiser to a new owner. That leaves the S, the '05 Silverado, and the '06 Civic Si in the stable - all manuals. We're looking to trade the Si for a fuel efficient automatic SUV and after comparing the CR-V and others I ran across the Juke. It looks like the real deal.
The only downside I see is the factory turbo - but I'd much rather have a factory turbo than an aftermarket.
Opinions and advice welcome.

I have read that the Juke is a good vehicle, but maybe not very fuel efficient if that matters. It is rated at mid twenties to thirty mpg, but the actual tests show less than twenty mpg combined. But maybe they were leaning on the turbo.
Have you considered looking at the the VW Tiguan, turbo gasoline or turbo diesel?

I know. We're looking for something that has similar functionality to the PT and automatic. I don't look forward to parting with the Si but this won't be my vehicle.

^ I agree. Also, it doesn't look very functional. It will however grab attention until it fades. I throw in a vote for CRV.

That's where we're leaning. I think it's the best choice for the money.

However doesn't a four cylinder manual transmission (assume the Si is manual) compared to four cylinder automatic make a difference in umph power? What about the weight difference between the vehicles?
Don't get me wrong, I really like the looks of the CRV and I'd love the mpg of the CRV vs my Jeep, but, for one thing we're not trading in, and for another I hear folks (Patty) mention the inability of the CRV to "haul ass."
