We were told by onlookers that the 'gray' birds were Reddish Egrets. Not sure if that is right but it was on a info board near the viewing area. I don't believe the legs are long enough for a Blue Heron.

I guess the local birders would know. All of them are cool birds.

I haven't driven this beauty since Feb 11. It was dusty. It's so nice out I had to pull it out for a Costco trip.

Beautiful, Gary!
Our crocus are up.....if the sun ever comes back out again, I'll have to take a few shots. It's nice to see a little color.
Correction it's a muskrat!!!
On the exciting side (for me) I finally saw a muskrat at my favorite nature trail. Not a spectacular photo, but proof that I saw him/her. Made my day.

Thanks, Gary. At first I thought it was a rat...it was small. I've only seen one other photo of an otter taken at this nature trail. It was taken on the other side of the property, in a different part of the river; I didn't expect to see the otter where I did. I got about four shots off before he/she went into his den or wherever otters hang out. The other photograph of an otter taken a year or so ago, was a great shot. The otter was upright with a fish in it's mouth. The gentleman that took the shot goes to this area just about every day. I've chatted with him.
