I've captured a few blue jays in the yard, peanuts in mouth, still nice to capture one in it's natural environment. This guy was pretty close to me. Minimal cropping required.

On a nostalgia trip today...my mother would have been 97. Found this photo from a few years ago on the back porch of my family house, when both my dad and mother were still with us. Sis and her hubby in the middle and moi and the +1.

One other bit of nostalgia - pics of my nephew (sis's son), who died tragically three years ago at 41. We will be remembering him and other loved ones who have passed on this evening at dinner.
