It's not like we haven't been nagging at ya, Patricia!
I didn't feel "normal" until almost 6 months after first surgery, a little less on the second. I think your injury was much more involved. Don't push it!
Dave, glad Donna liked the horse photos. I watched that show for a while myself.

Thing is that when you live alone you're totally used to doing 95% of everything yourself. I can't ask my significant other to take down the trash cans and bring them up, to mow the lawn, clean the cat boxes, fill the bird feeders, hang the pictures and/or wash and shave me. What that means is I try everything. When I end up paying for it I learn the hard way. BTW, I did not mow the lawn, did not wash the Pilot and only fertilized plants and planted some bulbs today. That's really quite the restraint for me. After being in agony last night I figured I'd cut it back a hair. I love living alone with my cats and gorgeous Colorado but I am missing out on the advantages of a good man. They are few and F - A - R between, not that I've known one for about 26 years. My own fault, I'm sure.

I get that! Being one armed isn't easy. Ask a neighbor, hire a neighbor's kid or something. Our cat sitter wasn't available to check in on Thelma while we were away. I paid the neighbor kid (17) to stop in and feed her and scoop her box daily. $15.00/day which is a likely a bit less than a kennel these days, but not bad or about 10 minutes of work. He sent me a Thelma video the other day. I know cats can be left on their own for a few days, but we'd rather someone come in.

"Mom! I'm HUNGRY! NOW!!" I love this! Were you the first car going the other direction? By the way, you passed right by my house if you took Hwy 34, you probably didn't, but you could do it one way. I'd love for you and your wife to stop by. I'm not quite up to driving to Estes Park in my S yet but I sure look forward to it!

^He got paid!! I pay my next door neighbor $8 a day for the same thing. He stays 10 minutes. I know because I have a camera in the house and I see when he gets here and I see when he leaves. He loves Atticus and Atticus loves him. He and Leo have not seen each other. His name is Gavin, and he just finished his first year at Fort Collins College to become a vet. He's been volunteering and then got hired at the vet that's about 3 miles from us.

You and another Leo, Ricky, said the same thing. I have two jobs I cannot do by myself. One is to set up my fountain that is way too heavy for me to lift the pieces to set it back up. The other is to get my spare ElliptiGO on the trainer so I could use it on my patio. Leos. Lions with a soft heart and a roar.
