Patty, I though Goggle was a cool place to work. I didn't realize they chained employees to their chairs.

Lainey, cute picture. But its clear you switched at the last minute based on where the pointers are.

You really pay attention to detail, Dave. Neither of us noticed the little "pointers."

Good one, Dave. There are dog stations on the floors with three jars of treats, a water bowl and stuff. There were a few dogs walking around with their owners. I tried to load photos but it's not working tonight.

Here's a picture I just received of the house we built and lived in for 20 years, until two years ago. This is the Atlas Peak fire approaching it. The fire continued towards the house, completely surrounding it, but no structures were lost, thanks to the jet you see behind the house, and the cleared space we maintained.

Yikes...it really did get close! Very happy for the owners, and you, that it was saved.

I don't have the creativity other members in my family have, but I took a stab at it...This has been seen on the internet. Freeze some colorful greenery in a dish, pop it out and you have winter art. The flowers I bought the other week were ready to be tossed, so I gave it a try. The flowers apparently floated back up a bit after I put the dish outside, so they are not totally submerged. However, it still makes for a pretty winter decoration. Shot a couple pics, of course, I wanted to lean them against something to let the sun shine through but nothing came to mind and it was too cold at 15 degrees to spend much time outdoors messing around with them. They are now on my front steps.
This one was my favorite.

Those are very pretty, Lainey!

I like the square one on the left a lot, too.

(Are the light colored flowers hydrangeas?)

I guess with the temperatures you are having lately, those will stay frozen for quite a while.

(We are having very cold temperatures like that, too.)

Thanks, Sue. Yes, they are hydrangeas. I bought flowers the other week and they were included in the bouquet. I may have to move them off the front steps tomorrow as it is going to snow a bit. They will be in the way. I'll find another spot for them.
