One last list
This is my list of thank yous.
The group leaders spent a lot of time working on the route and it showed.
Ken and Yoon-Hee
Roy and Carole
Jerry and Kathy
And the tailgunners
Phil
Dave
Tom
Paul's design for the shirts and magnets was a real hit
Gene's leading of the ferry group added a lot of fun, even for those who were already in NJ. (It was even better after the winery tour
)
Lainey performed the impossible, a private room at the Lobster House, THAT is truly an accomplishment.
Rick supplied some prizes, which was a little added bonus, and an opportunity for me to act goofy and give them away. And let's not forget he started this little tradition.
But I also need to thank the following people. Plans are just plans until people show up. I have planned parties and alumni events and all kinds of stuff, but it's not really anything until the great folks show up and make it into a party, and that's what is was a three day celebration, thanks to all of you.
Patty and Jerry, Jim and Chris, Glen and Carol, Don and Carol, Craig and Gloria, Dennis and Sue, Sam and Carmen, Dave and Patty, Darlene and Jim, Deb and Vito, Paul, Roy and Carole, Ken and Yoon-hee, Gene, Maury and Beth, Herman, Phil, Matt and Barbara, Jerry and Kathy, Jim, John and Bettye, Angela and Marva, John and Kathy, Paulie and Megan, Dave
And our new folks: Les and Vera, Jade and Nancy, Gary and Sharon, Andre and Kristen and Joe and Tammy
THANK YOU ALL very much for making this a success.
And everyone please remember, New Jersey isn't a bunch of refineries connected by 12 lane highways.

Nice list, Ken -- and at the top of our thank-you lists are you and Nancy! Never having been to southern New Jersey, I had no real idea what to expect of Cape May. It started with the drive down from the Philly airport. - nice level countryside with trees, and flowers -- and vacation homes, all the way down to the coast. The Grand Hotel was stately and grand -- a period piece; and the town with its quaint light house(s) is a Victorian wonder. Yep, NJ is a long way from Texas, and I didn't see a single refinery with 12 lane highway on the entire trip across -- except --when leaving Houston.

Beautiful trip once we got on 40. Lots of critters - fortunately, we did not run over any!
Cape May was lovely and we really enjoyed our visit there with you and everyone else.

Zippy, what a great, well organized, fun event! You brought a great bunch of people together. It was great seeing all of the new folks as well.

After SF 08 in Seven Springs and SF 09 in Cape May, the planner(s) of SF 10 have a huge hurdle to jump over! Knowing who is working on this already, however, I expect it will be a piece 'o cake!
Now....about what about the FCFG*, Jim

Zipster, I agree that you and Nancy should be at the top of this list. Smooth is the word that comes to mind when I think of the fun that just flowed. Well worth coming out of retirement for. Thanks to all for the memories.
