This past Saturday, with the help of another S2Ki member who had done his car, we installed seat heaters in my S. Now, I know living in Phoenix, the desert with few days of chilly weather, they won't get used too much. But for the trips up to the mountains (alpine country) even in Arizona, the evenings and early mornings are quite chilly a lot of the year.

Last year, this same buddy who helped me, was able to have warm seats for himself and his wife, with top down driving in the scenic mountain roads. Part of my justification for putting them in is to help my girlfriend be comfortable on the Devil's Highway weekend trip planned for the end of Sept. We'll be at elevations around 5,000 ft, I believe, so when the sun is down or barely rising, air temps drop a lot.

Who else had installed seat heaters in their S? Are you happy with the results?

I installed them on my S a few years ago.

I followed the write up on this site that someone had posted.

My wife loves them. They're great for drives in the early spring and late fall.

I've had them in the S for like 10 years now....

Best mod ever done.... keeps the better half happy by roasting her butt!

Helps when you go out for a drive in 30 degree weather with the top down!

Do anyone of you that have installed them have a source I could look at? I was not aware that they were available for our car.

Here's the thread I followed to install the ones in my car.

I put the buttons in the same place as well (just to the side of the power plug).

I had 'em in my last S. Purchased from seatheater.com, installed by one of their (many) affiliates. It's a pretty standard thing to get, and according to my installer, the S2000 is easy.

Absolutely loved them; will certainly have them installed in my new S as soon as I can. Highly recommended.
