I try to very, very careful in the S (although she tends to want to creep upward in speed).
I tried to keep up with you at the Pinehurst meet

Invest in the V-1. Its a great product. It's worth the money.

The only speeding ticket I got in the last 5 years was about 2 months ago in my 4Runner. I forgot to move the V-1 from my S. If I'd had it I'd have known about the cop.

Its worth the money.

I've been without tickets since I've had the Passport 8500. (Knock on wood). I'm sure it had "saved" me on more than 1 occasion. Where legal, a detector should be standard equipment.

Gene

I bought two suction cup mounts and leave one in my S and the other in my 4Runner. I move the V-1 back and forth between the two.

I wired it into the fuse box under the dash and simply connect the wire when I'm in my S. I use the cigarette light plug in my 4Runner.

I find it convenient to have it mounted on the windshield as I can see it, expecially the arrows, and I can easily reach the volume control.

As for the price, I consider it to be so good that I thinks it's a bargain. If mine was stolen I'd buy another one immediately.

I got a BEL 855 sti. Its already got some years on it. I'll have to start putting a few pennies aside for the V1.
