September and October are the best time to visit the Oregon coast. Less people and more sunshine. Also the northern California coast with the redwoods are great. Great hiking and sightseeing. for your S 000.

 

I was back there a couple years ago in April. Lows in the mid 30s and highs in the 40s with rain showers. Ahh Spring.

Big Pacific storm blew into Portland with winds of over 120 mph. That was exciting!

Jim, we were fortunate to have only a hint of the fog coming in from the Pacific in the morning on the coast. In general, our time was clear, sunny....and sometimes much too hot (a rare occurence in OR) I loved seeing the pics of Patty's visit to your log house....hope to make a visit sometime in the future.
