Sort of like America and life in general.

Relaxing to me. A place I like to walk and think. Makes me think about timelessness, my mortality, and things left to be done. Like footprints in the sand.

Went to an empty chunk of beach this morning. Threw out a couple rods, plopped myself down and watched the sea.

I like beach It's always changing yet always the same. It's good for perspective

Give me a tank of air and a mask and I'll go wrangle those fish into you.
I truly love the ocean.

Although I live close to one of the Great Lakes, and nearly in the middle of the Finger Lakes Region, I have to say, being on the beach of the ocean creates a very different feeling. Boy oh boy, it's been many, many years since I have been to one of the oceans...

I'm guessing the view is a little better than Lake Erie

I was in Santa Barbara on Tuesday afternoon and yesterday. The ocean there and the beach were the prettiest I've ever seen it. No photos, though. I was driving by with my son and was just amazed how jaw-dropping beautiful it was. Looks like today is another perfect beach day. I can see the ocean from my house, and I'm 17 miles away, by car.

I love the beach....I can just sit in a chair, and continue to just sit in a chair. Sometimes with a book, sometimes people watching, sometimes we'll just go for a walk.

The sound of the ocean...there is nothing like it. It's soothing to my soul.
