The sound of the ocean...there is nothing like it. It's soothing to my soul.
I have an ocean sounds CD I play every night when I go to bed. BTW, I love your photos. Soothing just to look at them.

All this talk about the ocean. That does it. Shower and off to the beach, top down. The other things can wait.

I love the ocean but not during the summer, too hot, too crowded.
I do love to be there during a storm and watch the angry surf pound the beach.

Thanks!

As Jerry mentioned, the beach is better without a crowd. I think flts said he found an "empty chunk of beach."

I like to watch flames flickering at the campfire!

I like to watch the eternal surf, too, but in Texas we don't have an ocean, we have a gulf.

Perspective: I never really thought about it, but there is no definable boundary line between the ocean and the land.

Now that would be a whole different set of memories.

After reading this thread I'm grabbing Abby and we are off to the beach. It's sunny and upper 70's here today. Woohoo!

If you happen to see Jim at the beach, tell him I said hello. He's still in SC and said he planned to go out to the beach this afternoon. I miss him but still no grandbaby, so I'm staying put. I think he may drive home tomorrow since it appears I won't be coming back south anytime soon.
