I was a year or two ago. the place seemed dead to me. Only a few forums were active. To me, it didn't really seem to add anything.

 

I don't mind it. It weeds out the sissies. I'm heading to Key West for a long Labor Day weekend this year.

You will be the first person to know if things change. I hate missing this one. And it's not very often that I get invited anywhere, although I do get told where I can go quite often.

 

It does seem to be somewhat regionalized, with Texas being the most active. There are, however, a lot of members there who also post here. We are planning on going to S2K Days this year. We also attended S2K Days in Lake George in 2008, as Emil has posted pics in the Meet's thread.

 

Ha ha. Just went to s2kca and had a message from xviper from god knows how long ago. I left him a message on his coolant change thread. I take back what I said. S2kca does have Dave.

 

...and he's very active there. He just got pi$$ed at some of the folks here, and quit posting. His advice is top-notch.

 

Plus, he's a great guy. I miss him.

 

 

I know, I used to vacation in Bah Hahbah in the summers when I lived in Upstate NY.

 

Would love to visit New England in the summer, but I will not be doing any long distance drives this year. I hate to even post in this thread since I prefer only happy and upbeat posts. I'll be working on back strengthening for the next six months to a year and auto travel is not the preferred method. One of my all-time favorite meets was the Nor'easter in Mystic Seaport. Great times. We also love Bar Harbor and spent some time there a few years ago. Beautiful, beautiful area.
