Would love to visit New England in the summer, but I will not be doing any long distance drives this year. I hate to even post in this thread since I prefer only happy and upbeat posts. I'll be working on back strengthening for the next six months to a year and auto travel is not the preferred method. One of my all-time favorite meets was the Nor'easter in Mystic Seaport. Great times. We also love Bar Harbor and spent some time there a few years ago. Beautiful, beautiful area.
We will miss you something aweful, but please get better soon! We can do it again some other time.

I know, I used to vacation in Bah Hahbah in the summers when I lived in Upstate NY.

This could work for me and Kathy, but may be a streeeeeetch.

We're booked into a lakefront house in Nova Scotia for the first full week in August. We don't know how we're getting there....as it's a loooooooooong from Philly (probably 2 day trip). We may just fly to Boston and pack all 4 of us into Melissa's little red Fit

We would to spend time on The Cape but it may have to wait for another year for us

Sounds like the makings of a Chevy Chase movie.

Rent a bigger car for the week.

The Holiday Inn is not on or near the water. If people want waterfront information, let me know and I'll check around, but expect it to cost a bit...lot more.
