This thread continues to motivate me. Two grandson's are over today and I gave them my die cast 1/24th model collection that appears in this photo.

The easiest way to get close on the year is the headlights. This model is a 1958 Corvette; that's when they had 4 headlights. The model was made 58-60. Prior to that the 56-57 which had the same two-tone side appearance only had 2 headlights. As for the one in the garage picture; I'm not sure since I gave it away but most likely '56 or '57.
I think it only had two headlights. I have a pretty good memory of photographs I've seen in my old family photo albums but I don't own one of my dad's Corvette. It just popped into my mind, a picture of my oldest sister, Jeanne, who's 10 years older than me, and my dad's first child, with him in that Corvette. She must have that picture.
