Get rite (sp?) of that crap! The kids don't want to have to rent a dumpster! Give it an honest look, do they want it- really? Help them out. There's enough crap that you can not part with that they will.

It will cost a few bucks, but call 1-800 junk. My friend just used them to haul off a huge old TV.

Yep. The other day I was looking for something in the entertainment cabinet and that's where I store photo albums. I don't have a ton compared to many, but I'm sure my son and his family won't care about the photo albums from our S2000 road trips.

When when my mom died unexpectedly in November 2000, that's what we had to do. We rented a dumpster and tossed a lot. Before she died she competed with her photos so one entire bedroom was filled with large, mounted prints. She and her friend knew no one would care about their time consuming prints and slides. We all took a few but competition winners aren't normally my thing. Artsy fartsy, you know.

Hahahaha. Dave, I am looking at this post on my little cell phone. I thought those were Buckhorn models as in Matchbox models. I want to know the year of that aqua Corvette in the bottom left corner. It looks like the black and white with red interior my dad had when I was a youngster.

Well, did it look like this one..... I didn't give away all my models.

The easiest way to get close on the year is the headlights. This model is a 1958 Corvette; that's when they had 4 headlights. The model was made 58-60. Prior to that the 56-57 which had the same two-tone side appearance only had 2 headlights. As for the one in the garage picture; I'm not sure since I gave it away but most likely '56 or '57.
