Stick it back in the attic.

Gene, your model looks like it survived a California earthquake.
Say, is that the homeowner sitting inside the front door?

Similar issue here, we've been here 38 years and doubt we'll be here another 10 even though we love the place.

Same "stuff" issues plus the "stuff" the grown kids left behind.

We've started to declutter realizing that a house if unsellable if stuffed with junk

Yep, that is our Scottie, Nessa, guarding the homestead!

I agree; that's neat and worth saving. It can always be passed on to the next owner.

Two years ago we moved the office to home. It's ironic that I own and operate an environmental services firm that produces gigantic, forest-devouring reports. My office was wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling shelves of reports -- all four walls. We digitized everything, recycled all the reports, and gave away all the bookshelves. After my dad retired from the LAPD until he died, he got into carpentry. He made beautiful oak, redwood, and pine furniture for our home and my office. Unfortunately, some of that had to go. Our dining room became my office and our third bedroom became Anne Marie's office. We should have done this 25 years ago. We would have saved a fortune in office rent.

Make some money and sell some of your stuff on e-bay. My wife and I made some nice money selling stuff there. Someone's junk is always someone else's treasure.

Maybe we can have a support group. All of us can post pics of stuff and the rest of us tells them to get rid of it. Of course, we have already failed with Gene.

I am in the process of doing that, Ray. Unfortunately, I am a collector, and find it very hard to let go. Let's see:
Many Vargas and aviation related calendars from the 40's
Over a dozen tube radios, in need of restoration
Several boxes of vacuum tubes and assorted parts, from when I used to restore old radios
Well over 1,000 45's and several hundred 33 1/3 albums
Two jukeboxes
Postcards from the 40's and 50's related to my home state
Several aviation related lamps and clocks from the 30's and 40's, all restored
I'm sure I've forgotten some things.
So, yeah, it's time to start on Ebay!

^Good idea, Bill! We need an intervention, for sure.
