Several boxes of vacuum tubes and assorted parts, from when I used to restore old radios
Well over 1,000 45's and several hundred 33 1/3 albums
Two jukeboxes
Postcards from the 40's and 50's related to my home state
Several aviation related lamps and clocks from the 30's and 40's, all restored
I'm sure I've forgotten some things.
So, yeah, it's time to start on Ebay!

My mother-in-law also said to keep it. Can't win.

My wife has a nice collection of 45's including most of Elvis's early recordings. 60's 33 i/3 albums too. I may try to find a local collector. Shipping them might pose a breakage issue.

I think I did it in a night or two. It was a kit I bought that had all the graphics printed on card-stock, so it was a matter of having the plans in the same scale and just cutting out the pieces.
It did look a lot better before the tsunami hit, though!

We are sort of getting a downsizing dry run now.
The library, dining room and living room have to be emptied to refinish the hardwood floors.

The good news is we can dump everything into the great room.

The bad news is boxing it all up to move it.

I doubt there is any market for a clock that has to be fixed, since it is expensive to do and takes a long time. Not many antique clock repair people around anymore. I also have two boxes full of used picture frames that I'm giving away. I had so many framed photographs over the years but I only display a few these days. The hospice store I give a lot to has no use for them, so I'm advertising on my building link to see if anyone wants them.
Well, some people in the building did want the frames. I'm down to about 1/4 of what I had.

I've started to go through the 55 year collection of hardware I have in my basement. After a Sunday of sorting, I threw away a grocery bag of old nail boxes and containers in favor of two plastic divider trays that allow me to see everything I have in a certain hardware category at once. I still have boxes and jars of nails but they are larger nails and the boxes are half full or better. Previously I started sorting through the screws. I'm not sure I like what I have done so far and it may get reorganized again. I keep this stuffin a stand up box with little plastic draws. You can't really see into it, so you need to organize it well and remember your order system or make labels. Now I am moving on to the bolts and then it will be misc. items like door locks, hinges, drawer pulls, etc.

I'm also working myself up to photograph and post a few things on Craigslist and other for-sale sites. I have a spare tire for a BMW E90 series car, a set of new brake rotors for a 328, some fishing gear i want to get rid of, and some boat equipment to dump. I'm not sure any of it is worth the effort.

Bill, I suspect almost every car guy in the world has this type of storage. It works but its certainly not my favorite.

Now I'll show you the one I think is great. Clearly the best by far.
