Next time just ask her if this means you two have to get married now that you're obviously engaged.

If it’s a male Doc make sure he doesn’t have both hands on your shoulders during the exam. We had a company doc where I worked. His name was Dr. Glick. All the guys called him Slick Dick.

GL Ken!

When I get my yearly physical and its time for my check, I always toss my doc the line "What, no dinner first?". He laughs, then proceeds to do his work.

Sadly, my friend's father has Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. He's near 90 and this will be it for him. Not sure how long he waited to get checked or how aggressive it was, but as stated, check early and yearly. I believe Prostate Cancer is nearly always treatable if caught early?

The worst part used to be the prep. Drinking that crap the night before to clean you out was awful. Now they give you a pill. Mine is coming due soon. I have to have one every 5 years as they found some polyps

My friend never got checked. He had blood work done and his PSI was 23. He is undergoing treatment now. Don’t put it off.

There are two types. The slow one and the quick one - small cell carcinoma of the prostate is quite aggressive (and rare), but I do have a relative who has this one. He has survived much longer than I thought possible, but we are thankful. I believe with the slow-growing version, the chances of your dying of something else are quite high. In any event, here is an exhaustive article on the subject.
