I recently read that Steve Jobs' cancer was very treatable, and not usually fatal But he delayed treatment in favour of alternative therapies, that is what lead to his cancer turning fatal. Just proves early detection and early treatment is your best bet. My colonoscopy was delayed due to Covid , I need to get back onto getting that rescheduled.

That sounds more like a colonoscopy. For the prostate biopsy, it's 2 enemas and no food for 8 hours before the procedure. Breakfast at 1630 sure tastes good after no foor all day.

I had a lovely core needle biopsy once for a breast lump (turned out to be benign). It involved lying face down on the table while a big needle went rapidly in and out to get biopsy samples from different areas. Not much fun. But yours sounds worse. Sorry... At least it did not take long.

Actually, it's totally painless. Maybe discomfort from the "invasion" but you're definitely numbed before the start, The entire procedure takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Happy to do so and maybe offer a bit of encouragement.

Minor.inconvenience, Jim. Out patient treatment, 95% cure rate. Even I have a decent chance with those odds.
