Glad you are OK. Do those exercises, they are likely the easy ones.

Don't feel bad about caving. Drugs can be your friend for a brief time. The day after PT, I utilized my "stash" once.

Well, I guess I know where I stand, or lie. Have you got something against us non-walking wounded?

Thanks John. It does suck. I'm bored nearly to tears, plus I'm not making any extra money this summer for audio toys.

Glad to hear everybody is continuing to mend nicely. And don't worry Dean, we've circled the wagons around you too and are here to keep you company. Glad to hear you're cooperating.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones - my PT never hurt at all. All those stretches, and deep tissue massages never ever hurt a bit. She was just great - I'm really thankful to her for all the work she did and confidence she gave me. In a follow-up visit to my surgeon he even thought my PT was awesome. He was beyond pleased with "our" work.

Lynda. Thanks for the positive report. You must have nerves of steel.

My tendon transfer surgery is nothing compared to what others have had done. I keep wearing my thumb splint when I sleep but have it off for most of the day, like now, so I can type. I don't think I'll have pain when my occupational therapist starts me doing exercises/stretches on Thursday, just discomfort. I can give a decent now, if not perfect.
