Since I am the spouse of a stroke victim, any symptoms like this should be considered seriously.

Unfortunately, our small-town ER misdiagnosed my +1's stroke as a migraine. Please have him go to a big-city ER ASAP, if possible.
He lives in New York City and apparently his doctor doesn't see any urgency. I have to agree with you, if this happened to my wife or I, I'd be in the ER immediately.

I'd be racing to the ER if anything like this happened to me or my husband.

Always better to be safe, and even feel silly for making the ER trip than to let something go.

I had a co-worker who worked with a bad left ear ache all day. He was fortunate that the person he was training called 911 since he said the pain was getting worse. He had a heart attack. The paramedics said he wouldn't have survived if help wasn't called. He still was disabled and never went back to his job. I have lost contact with him so I don't know if he ever looked for other employment.

Sad. He was a good worker and a nice guy. I also thought our employer didn't show him a lot of sympathy. One of the reasons that I don't work there anymore.

I should know how things are going tonight, or at the latest tomorrow.

Beth yells at me everyday at the gym because I have my headphones so loud. Maybe if she would quit nagging me I would turn them down

My Brother in law, went through a group of tests today and they didn't find anything that caused his deftness or the black line he sees in his left eye. They said that the deftness can be caused by several things, but they did not find anything. He now has an appointment next week with an eye doctor. They did say that if the hearing in his left ear doesn't come back in a few weeks, he will probably never hear again in that ear. So he is back at square one with no cause or solution to his problem. It's hard to believe that they cannot find the problem.

Good to hear that everything went well with Rick. As far as the eye doctor, I should have said a specialist. A doctor already did look at his eye, but couldn't find anything.
