OK, Jerry.

Just trying to make your life easier!I'm going to set my Mom up with her new computer and Windows 7 this weekend.
I might be doing a bit of this
myself. Fortunately, I don't have to load much onto it, just need to transfer a few pics (I have them on a flash drive) and get her AOL to a place where she is comfortable for browsing/email.When I loaded her pics onto a flash drive, she thought I was removing them from her current computer.
Hey she's almost 89.

Can someone (Gene, Val?) give me the steps to adding a .gif to my signature? . . .
You need to go to Personal Profile and then scroll down to the signature section. From there it should be pretty much self explanatory. You just copy/paste after using the IMG button (I think). Its been a while since I edited my signature, but I believe that sums it up.

Thanks but I got that far before I posted for help. When you hit the IMG button, it asks for a URL, I believe that's a website address. But the .gif is on my computer. That's where I'm getting stuck.
