Well, I just had my third S2000 battery fail this afternoon. I have been sticking with Honda batteries, but this time I am going to replace it with a non-OEM one. Maybe I'll have better luck with one from an auto parts store.

Darn OEM parts. Hope this one lasts longer than the last three!

Gene,

Based on the research I did and the info that our S2Ki buddies posted it seems that the Optima Yellow top is at the top of the heap. It is optimized for "garage queens".

But the Optima Yellow Top was almost twice what I paid for mine today at Advance Auto. Besides, neither of my cars are "garage queens."

OK. As we have both replace our batteries within two weeks of each other, it will be interesting to see which one lasts the longest? And who gets the best ROI?

Only time will tell.

I have long been a Die Hard fan, until reading this thread and the fact that Sears did not have the battery for the S in stock.
