Should I...
I just stumbled upon a 2007 S2000 at the local Honda dealer which has only 3400 miles. It is Honda Certified and is about $2,500 under Kelly Blue Book value. My 2001 has over 67,000 miles, but is in exceptional mechanical shape. I have just retired and have the financial means to purchase it, but my conservative side keeps saying "save your money and keep what you have."
So, what do you think?

Go for it! It will take some time to get used to the 8K limit and you might hate it at first but then you'll notice how much better the stereo is, and how you don't feel every crack in the road, and eventually you will love the '07. That's my opinion. I hated my '05 after my '01 but after months I got used to it and love it. I did have to get it aligned though to make it handle properly. That was the biggest problem it had and I didn't know it until I drove it afterwards and felt the difference immediately.

When I test drove it today, I hit the rev limiter almost immediately, so I know that will take some getting used to. (if I buy it!)
BTW, Bea has given me her permission to buy it, since she went along on the test drive, and liked the way it felt as a passenger.
Since it's apparently strictly discretionary income, I say, "If it feels good, do it." If not, don't.
FYI, I drove to work today in a 13-year old Integra with 149k mi on the clock. I'm cheap. But if it floats your boat and doesn't require a sacrifice you don't want to make, then do it. I wouldn't, but I'm on record as being cheap! ;-)

(2007)

I might get a Laguna Blue in 2008.
