[QUOTE=jukngene,Jan 6 2008, 05:54 PM] To all who have given me your opinions on this question, thank you very much. Believe me, I have considered every one, and have finally made my decision:

I will be calling the dealer tomorrow morning to tell him that:

Patty, should I make a deal for you? I'm sure that it will be on the lot for a while.
How far is it from Pittsburgh? I could get a one-way ticket to Spring Fling in May, and drive the Laguna home.

About an 8 hour drive. It's only 1 1/2 hours from Philadelphia. Too bad I didn't know about it when you went to the New England cookie party!

It's okay. I need to buy a house and maybe a replacement for my '98 Odyssey van, before I seriously consider a third S2000.

I took this from a thread in So Cal:

"AP2 and the rain... Car accident

not involving me though. its literally pouring cats and dogs right now. i was on the 91 freeway and the rain was so dense that some people were pulling over. i set the cruise control at 50mph and gripped the steering the whole time.
ive never seen my VSA light kick on so many times. coming from an AP1 to an AP2...the car inspired confidence felt planted compared to the AP1.

there was an old school accord that was two lanes over and it looked like he hydroplaned and did a 360. thankfully everyone was driving slow enough to avoid him

becareful guys!

...Just thought I'd share this thread/post. I don't have VSA in my '05 but I was interested in reading this. My sweetheart does have VSA in his '06 and I have felt it kick in when he has fun in the corners.

You need to tell whoever it was that you're not supposed to use cruise control in the rain.

No one should use cruise control in ANY vehicle in the rain.

Back OT -- glad you came to a decision, Gene. Either way you haven't lost anything. You still have a fine car.
