This belonged to my Dad. Again, I've no clue to the age.
Criminy, that is old! It doesn't even have the Windows key on it!

Are you talking about the "pocket doors" that slide into the wall? The old house we bought had those doors, and we added several more when we remodeled. We found them to be a great space saving feature.
Yes. They are a great space saver and they are still available; funny we don't see more of them.

I have quite a few antique things - furniture, clocks, music and bird boxes. Some from Auntie, some from my dad, who collected and repaired antique clocks for many years. Need to take pics.

Nice collections Val. BTW, we have a set of cherry end tables with straight simple lines as well, except ours are wood topped.

Nice Val! Thanks for posting!

I'm guessing those "eggs" in the cabinet have special meaning as well?

One of the eggs is handpainted solid and polished wood and was a gift from a friend in Moscow (back before the dissolution of the USSR). One of the eggs is an actual hand painted blown eggshell and was a gift from my granddaughter about 10 years ago. One is a Faberge egg and the little red one opens and holds a little gold chain with a miniature egg pendant (a little mini-me egg).

I like those. And I think I may have asked about them when I saw your little collection last spring, but I forget a lot these days...........

Aren't there some clowns in a collection too? Or is that someone else's house?
