I think this guy threatened me in another thread once..... He does look a little sinister.

These are my sister's dogs. Looks like they had a tough day!

I was wearing black pants this evening. By the time I left, I had dog slobber and fur all over them. Though I'm not a big dog fan, these two are really mild mannered. We often tell my sister that the smaller one (rather large for a sheltie) has no personality. He's aloof and the older one (full size collie) is rather prissy.

Well she is about 80 pounds now...
OMG!!!!

That is the dog I want. How are they as pets and what do I need to look out for in that kind of breed?

Also are they heavy shedders?

^ I Weimeraners...I had two of them - Elke and Sadie. They can be a bit neurotic. Eighty pounds is a bit heavy for a female. I think mine were about 65. They are beautiful dogs. I wouldn't say they are heavy shedders, but they definitely shed. They are susceptible to bloat because of the configuration of their bodies. That is what killed my second one.
