I really hope you find a Mastiff that is right for you and your situation.
Stay tuned.
OK so here's the scoop.. ...
We went up and visited the breeder today and gave her deposit
Puppy will be ready to come home a weekend or two after spring fling.
Name TBD ( this might take a while, the Malta agreement took less time.

Momma gave delivery to 10 pups last week. ( 3/20/14)

and here's dad

and here are the pups

We get to pick the specific pup in another 3-4 weeks although we're down for a male brindle like poppa
and auntie ( 35" at the shoulder and 240 lbs, I can only hope )

Congrats! Puppies look very healthy. I see about three brindles. Hope you get the one you want. A friend of mine had mastiffs. They are b-i-g!

It's nice to see owners take responsible action.

Yeah, that dog will take a snow shovel for a scoop, eh? It sounds great until I remember potty training Kyras, Whiskey, Vector and Rogue. That part sucks. How do you guys potty train when you both work? Is the puppy outside in the daytime?

Jerry, I'm glad you're getting a puppy.

Training will be challenge but the oldest son is around to help.
We're likely to take a bunch of overlapping vacation to be with the puppy in the earliest stages.

Elected officials in the city of Boulder, CO are considering a plan to test dog poop for DNA so the dog owners can be tracked down. If the ordinance passes all dogs in Boulder will require a DNA swipe of their mouth. If any offending dog poop is found on trails, parks, or other public areas and there’s a DNA match the dog’s owner will face a considerable fine.

I’m not saying if it’s a good or bad thing, I know that I don't like dog poop, but I'm just amazed how technology marches on and we’re swept up in it.

Give me a break! For all they will spend on software, inventory, testing and the like they could just pick the shit up and have money left over.
