I watched the two videos. They're always fun. What kind of cats are they, again?

They're Somali's. A long haired version of an Abyssinian.

So true! What did you do for Memorial Day? We're only half-way through it but we're taking it easy at home. Everyone is reporting huge crowds (via twitter) at the Lantern Floating Festival (http://www.lanternfloatinghawaii.com/) that we were going to attend. Guess we'll watch at home instead. You can probably stream it at the link if interested. Fran says "hi"
Colin,

Unfortunately, I did not make my usual trip to "The Wall" this year. I did some much needed yard work. Started the process of clearing several tree size branches that came down in a bad thunder storm some time ago.

Thank you for the link to the lantern floating. That is amazing.

Give Franceen a hug for me.

After the heat and humidity got to me I picked up and sorted through five bags of trash (looking for a clue) that someone dumped at the end of our street I needed to get to it before the animals did. As far as I can tell, someone had an under age party near by.

The contents were among other things:

Several dozen beer cans (including one unopened can)
Several dozen red plastic cups (from Costco)
An empty aluminum tray of ziti
An bag from garlic bread (Safeway)
Paper plates and a few plastic forks and knifes
Several empty 2 L sprite bottles
Two empty frozen lemonade cans
An empty 1.75 L bottle of Citrus Vodka
A couple of empty cigar tubes
An empty box from a self pregnancy test
An empty box from "Plan B" (morning after emergency contraceptive for teens)

An invitation to a party with a name and address (about a mile from us) for a party to be held on 20 June 09.

I can't wait .............

HI Matt,

It has been really hot here too. BTW, the Lantern Floating will be streaming live very soon. They expect to start floating lanterns in about 45 minutes and this is the only place to see it outside of Japan. If you're still up you should see if you can catch the stream here http://kgmb9.com/main/ (the news is wrapping up now)

Top two are at 6 months, the remainder are 2009 pictures. Her name is maggie.

She loves balls. These balls are called chuck-it balls, quite impressed with them as Jack Russell's have strong jaws and sharp teeth. IMO bullet proof ball.
