I didn't get to watch it (Sanctuary) - too much to do to prepare for this trip. I'm planning on seeing it online before the next episode.

By the way - Sarah Jane has aged well. She looks pretty good for a Vintage chick!

Actually, I phrased that badly. Vintage chicks are generally quite good looking - witness the ladies here.

Geeks r us as well. Whatever I watch, Jim somehow gets hooked on as well . Eureka is available on the Scifi website so I can catch up any epis I miss.
Hulu.com is also a good resource for NBC (SciFi, USA, and the rest of the NBC networks) and FOX properties.
Their streaming content and quality is actually quite good.

Hi Lainey,

I was a fan of the older Dr. Who, but I do occasionally watch the new ones. Tom Baker was my favorite Dr. Who. I actually work for a guy a number of years back that could pass for Tom Baker's brother.

I did watch Sanctuary today, and it was pretty good, I would just rather have Col. Carter on a current SG-1, but of course they no longer make that show.

As for Treks, I really liked DS-9 the best. Avery Brooks was the best commander, but I am usually alone with that assessment.

Do I get my Geek badge now?

I wondered why they pulled Sam off SG Atlantis - then I saw previews for this show. She did really well with a British accent!

The cool thing about DS-9 was that every character had some dark side or neurosis, in contrast to the other Treks, where everyone was happy and well-adjusted. It made for some very interesting stories.

I registered with Hulu yesterday. I found it streams faster than the Scifi channel and I liked the hi res option. Thanks, Ken.
I agree about Amanda Tapping. I liked the original stargate series, but haven't been able to get into the Atlantis one. She did a good job on the Sanctuary premiere. I'm curious to see how it proceeds.
I liked DS9 a great deal but preferred NG. I think I've met a lot of Ferengi posing as humans.

I totally agree. DS9 was the best of the Star Trek series.

Also a fan of pretty much anything sci-fi. Can't quite get into the Sarah Jane Adventures though. It just doesn't seem to have the same quality of Dr. Who or Torchwood.

BTW, Tadashi, iTunes has the entire Firefly series

Does anyone remember Space: Above and Beyond? How about Surface and Invasion? Or how about my all time favorite, Farscape?

Thanks Tony - I have the entire Firefly series already

I loaned my DVD of Serenity to someone this summer who never returned it I don't want it bad enough to ask for it back, I'll just buy another copy eventually. My TV sucks so there's no point in watching it again until I have access to something better.

Loved Space above and beyond, I thought it was a great show. Saw every Farscape, very novel ideas, and I just LOVED it when Claudia joined Ben on SG1 - too funny their new interactions
