Spring Fling or Summer Sizzler
Considering the fact that we have had rain at some point for the last three spring flings, I am taking a poll if we want to keep it in May or move to June. The May date has been changed to May 2,3,4th. Lainey realized the original date was Mothers Day. What do you think?

I think June would be better for that location.

Later June makes it difficult. My folks usually leave for Lithuania around then, so we have no babysitting available.
On the other hand, maybe they won't be doing this anymore next year, in which case either date is fine.

While we've yet to have Spring Weather at any Spring Fling so far, I'd still prefer the May date.
It's great to have a meet early in the season to get out there with our cars after a long winter.
June might just be too warm.

Our attendance that LATE in June is less likely. If June is the decision, let's stop kidding ourselves and just call it SUMMER Fling
Kids are out of school and vacations start to conflict for younger 
Pittsburgh is a couple hundred miles further S than Watkins Glen....and there is no 'lake effect'. We've just been unlucky with the weather in WG and L Geo...but it was still a good time for all

Picking a date for ALL to agree is never easy ...... Some will say May, Some will say June, Some will say it doesn't matter ......
While I do wish the weather was abit less rainy and a bit more warmer than th elast 2 SFs... early May is our choice .....
