HIJACK!!!
I move for an event each month from May through September. This will be a total of 5 Vintage meets during the good driving months. The names will be as follows:
Spring Fling
June Swoon
Independance Bash
Summer Sizzler
Fall Gathering
Each event will be in different region. A different group will be responsible for all the logistics at each event. No pissing and moaning if the event has features that you don't want, or does not have features that you do want. If you want different activities, volunteer to organize one of the five events.
All in favor say "aye." Those opposed, say "nay." Those with comments about this idea, feel free to post them in the "Do people change" thread.

I voted for June - My wife is out of school then, and I really would rather have my +1 with me, than not.

I like your idea
, though I would likely bow out on the May, and September events, given school schedule and all. My guess is though that the list of five would break down to two or three events. Not everyone has the kind of dedication and persistance that Ms. Perky has in planning this kind of thing.

I can either do early May or middle to late June...but end of May and early June conflict with end of the school year...there is no way I can take off then. Plus...Spring Fling should be in the Spring (just my opinion)....
The same goes for any meets that occur middle Aug. to middle Sep. That is the beginning of the school year so I can't attend those either. Not until I retire that is...and that won't be for another 7 years

I think June gets into vacation time for many people. But, if it is going to be anywhere north of VA, then June it is. As cold as it was this year in VA, I couldn't imagine driving any twisties in Canada.
