US auto sales are doing good but investors are pulling in the reins and selling the stocks. General Motors, which was so hot when it came out in November that they had to issue more shares, is beaten down. Down 15 percent this year. Lately it’s trading about 3 to 4 dollars lower than its initial public offering price...

Generally an ipo will settle about 6 months after its offering.
Ford has done and continues to do quite well but on the other hand so are the Korean automakers.
