Suzuka owners - why?

This is what makes Vintage different from "S2000 Spank". At this point this thread would go downhill with color insults if we were in S2000 Spank. But here, we have mutual respect. Praise Allah....

In my opinion the two most magnificent colors offered here in the states for the S are Sebring Silver and Suzuka Blue. They are beautiful, yet they are understated. They whisper, they don't shout. Both colors sparkle in the sunlight and glow at night.
I had a very difficult time deciding between the Sebring and the Suzuka. Two things helped me to make up my mind.
1) I preferred the black interior of my Sebring to the Blue interior of the Suzuka. Not that there is anything wrong with the blue, I just happen to like the black better.
2) When I first went to the dealer he had a Suzuka Blue in stock, but it was being used for demos. I didn't want that particular one. Two weeks later when I returned on a Saturday morning, the Sebring had arrived at the dealership 4 hours earlier. I bought the Sebring on the spot, it still had all of the plastic sheeting on it.
I love my Sebring. I think of it as "the girl next door". You don't notice it at first, but when you take a good look its absolutely beautiful. I think Suzuka is in the same class.

Beautiful. The two metallics, Sebring and Suzuka, are irridescent in that they change color with changing light. Compare yours to mine. Only the Sebrings and Suzukas do that.

I think I could have gone with Suzuka but for the black top and dash. Better with a dark blue top and blue dash. I saw a Boxster that was all coordinated like that, only in greys-- looked great!

As several have already mentioned, the Sebring Silver and Suzaka Blue are probably the most elegant and understated of the colors available. Yellow has its place and having run the gem illustrated below (in '84 Corvette canary yellow Imron paint) before giving it to my youngest son, I'd already experienced the pros and cons.
But unlike everyone else so far who has opined that they preferred black leather in the Sebring, I found the red leather in the Sebring reminescent of such old classics as the gullwing Mercedes. I really like it -
