I think ultimately you will become so frustrated with the "features" of NIS that you will eat the subscription money and move on to something else.

I did a search under Norton and found the problem was already identified in Site Info. I just added my solution to that thread, so it's covered.

Just saw this thread. I have the same problem too. I have had so much trouble with Norton and their total lack of assistance that i will never renew it and hope they go bankrupt some day.

It's really kind of strange. Their corporate products have always worked well for me and the tech support while not outstanding has been adequate. I'm not sure why their offerings for home computers are so...well...crappy.
