This brought a smile to my face. My cousin who was a few years older than I am got these for Christmas. We were visiting their house in the evening, and I can still hear the laughter when people were playing with this toy. My cousin is gone now, but he's smiling down on this toy too.

Lainey, you are right to be wary of ice makers. When the Napa fires hit last October, we had to evacuate for five days. The power was off and all the ice in our icemaker melted, ran down the front of the fridge and onto the floor. This was the new oak floor that we had redone during our home remodel less than a year earlier. It warped the floor terribly. We just had the kitchen, eating area and family room floors sanded and resealed a couple months ago. Thankfully insurance covered the entire cost with no questions asked.

For multiple day runs I can shut it down at night. Controlled manually, automatically, control panel in the house or by internet. Very cool. Load shedding feature. Electrically controlled generator for <5% THC so the power is clean for computers. Quiet. Less than an a/c compressor running.
Perfect for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Hoffa disappeared 43 years ago yesterday on July 30, 1975, from the parking lot of Red Fox restaurant on Telegraph Rd in Bloomfield Twp., a suburb of Detroit. I always remember the restaurant because we use to go there on special occassions.
