Thinking about getting a scooter
For a few years I have thought it would be neat to have a scooter down the Cape. Something small and cheap for local errands. It just seems a Scooter would be a great way to get around and save a bunch of $ on gas. My biggest concern is that someone in a real car (probably an SUV) will not see me and run me over. That actually happend to my brother many years ago on a Vespa. He nearly died.
Do you own a scooter? Do you ever think of getting one?

I always took the approach when i got on a motorcycle that evryone was out to kill me.
a scooter still fits into this model.
the cape would scare me a little in that regard.
an awful lot of the people down there are on vacation and left there brain on the counter when they left home.
it's not malice just vacuous absence of consciousness.
with that said...
the herb chambers honda in westboro has Vespas for ~$3500 if I remember right.
I thought they looked pretty cool. if your only going a couple miles it would be pretty neat.

Scooterboy knows all about this. Where are you David?
I would get one, Bill. I have a motorcycle sitting in my garage right now. It doesn't have any gas in it and I don't have a gas can. I'm paying the DMV for registration and Geico for insurance, and haven't ridden it in about a year.
