Trip, why you wanna go around scaring people like that?
Glad that's all it was. I swear I hear a noise back there sometimes, especially in reverse. Did you have any warning noises?

This noise started out sounding like nothing more than a dragging rear brake pad. It was a low volume screech or scratch that was rhythmic per wheel revolutions. After the track stress it became more of a constant screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech.

That shot of adrenaline was good for ya Granny

My noise (a crunch or grinding) only happens every now and then only for a split second then it's gone and of course I can't get it to do it for the mechanic and they can't find anything.
I just hope it's nothing serious but I'm paranoid about any unusual noise. So, how long will it take to get this one fixed?

No.
I had a rear wheel bearing go, so now while driving it sounds like someone is in the trunk trying to pull the tail out of a pig. Not the kind of thing I could deal with or trust for a long trip. Have fun everybody, I'll be there in spirit, well that is if anybody is having a beer.

(But I'll take it in the spirit it was intended!
)I was thinking of you last night when I looked at the calendar & saw that the Glen event was on. I really wanted to make this, but like you, my time off is limited. I picked the other direction, obviously.
I'll have that beer for you!

Hey, Buddy! I'm on Ruth Josey's computer right now in Rockwall, Texas. I am getting off it, to drive to Meridian, Mississippi and meeting Jim there tonight. I'm on my way. Oh boy, oh boy! This has been a great trip already. Great attitude adjuster for me.
. This is shaping up to be a fine meet and it hasn't even totally started yet!!!! Woohoo!!!!

I could not help myself...It was a good school, I really had to go because my big 3-day school is the wekend after this upcoming one, so I needed to shake down the car and get this noise from last fall sorted out. It's totally not fun to hear a noise on the last day you can drive your car before 5 months of storage.
thx, enjoy that beer!

Mine should be fixed very wuickly, as the bearings are in stock, because when ya get right down to the dirtly little details, the rear wheel bearings for our cars are the same ones used on the front of a '98 up Accord; oh those clever little Honda engineers...
Oh, no, The Titan would just not be any fun on an S2000 drive, I love my Titan, but it's a truck, not a sports car.
Granny?? You rolling yet?????
We're rolling out of Lynchburg tomorrow, heading to Waynesboro via the Blue Ridge Parkway! It's been a great relaxing vacation so far, and we've had such great weather.
Hurry up and get here, the rest of you! We're waiting for you!
