Surprisingly I have very sore hips. Had muscle cramps while riding home on each side.
For such a big bike it got very good mileage, or at least it said it did. 40 mpg.
That's weird. Any idea why that is?

First suspicion is I'm old, fat and out of shape.
I did get muscle spasms in the 'tensor fascia latea" on the ride home when going from a stop to riding.
It almost felt like it got pinched in a position out of place.
I'm guessing I don't use that one much but I certainly pissed it off yesterday.

I am guessing you are using muscles in a different way. Like riding a horse, which can make your legs really sore.

Jerry, there must be some kind of PT exercises you can do to get the muscles and joints prepared for riding on the MC seat!

I have the bike a year and I'll be the first to admit when I've done something stupid.
It hasn't been a good experience. It's a big heavy bike, something like 690 pounds and it has a very high center of gravity.
The engine has a steep torque curve, below 2500 it simply wants to stall, the torque comes in around 27,2800 but by then it wants to go giddy up and a pretty good clip.
Not exactly ideal for crawling in slow traffic or starting going into left hand turns.
I wasted most of the year dealing with the original dealer who was at times willing to purchase it back but at a discount.
I managed to have a few stall and falls. Toady I brought it in to test out a zero SR/S. ( an EV)
Managed to drop it twice more and had to get help to stand it back up.
Side note there are a lot of nice concerned people out there.
Other than an utterly shattered ego I was fine.
The odd part is when under way, I really enjoyed the bike.
On a slightly over 50° the engine heat felt nice on my legs. I'm not sure I'd feel the same way in July but today it felt nice.

I didn't trade it today. The SR/S is a lot of money with a limited highway range.
It is different, it has a throttle, a front brake an da rear brake. that's it.
No clutch, no transmission. And it is roughly equivalent to a 1 liter sport bike. It has some giddy-up.
a lot lighter too. but it's not cheap.

Sell the bike, Jerry. Give me the $. It will be put to much better use than putting it towards the purchase of a "donor cycle" of any type.

Slingshot

This shouldn't tip over. I've seen them in Loveland and California. They look fun.

I like that style of bike. I used to have a crotch rocket and a regular street bike (CB650) and while I enjoyed the crotch rocket found I had to be in the mood for it as for the CB it was always enjoyable to ride.
