Well, Rob, after reading through this thread, I now understand a lot more about why I'm on my 4th S. Just should have kept the first one, in retrospect. Lots of retrospect! Glad to see you are keeping the car.

Ten years ago I was driving my then 11 year old son to basketball camp in our new S2000 with the top down on a gorgeous day.
It was his first experience in a convertible. As we rode along he extended his arm outside and played with the wind cupping his hand, catching the air.
He turned to me and said " ahhh scoops of happiness."

Rob, I regret getting rid of almost every car I've ever owned, especially the S and the NSX. Other than trading the S in on the NSX, I never had a good reason for getting rid of a car even though at the time I thought I did. If it's not hurting anything or anybody to stay in your possession, keep it. She'll always be there when you need her...and she'll understand if she doesn't get the exercise she once did.
I'll be at Pebble Beach for ya...I'll wear white gloves and everything

Hi Rob - Glad to hear that you did not sell. I still have my first sports car; 1971 Triumph TR6 [original owner since 8-03-1971, 41 years]. I don't get to drive it but a couple times a month, but when it walk into the garage and see it, WOW. I taught the ex-wife and all three of the kids how to drive in it. The memories of my daughter playing with her dolls in the cubby hole then her driving it, is something that can not be taken from me. Her husband said that is the only reason he married her was that she could drive a standard shift car, LOL. Both my boys enjoyed their time driving the TR. My oldest son enjoys riding in it everytime he and his wife come down for a visit. To him it is a must that we go riding on the back roads and have a beer together. I owned 3 different "S" and loved them, but I had to sell because of health; I now have the Accord EXL-HFP,6 speed manual. A great car but not the "S". In all this rambling I say just drive and enjoy.
