Well, it is popular with "some" of us.

As I have stated in the past, part of the reason that I like this meet so much is that the drive out to Marietta and back is "almost" as much fun as the drive it self. US RT 50 through the eastern part of West Virginia is a great road full of "twisties" (if one does not get stuck behind a "Sunday Driver" or a "Harley rider". In 2010, I took a route out to Marietta that was really FUN for me through back roads in WV where the posted speed limit was 55 MPH but even in the S, it was only obtainable about half of the time

It was GREAT FUN for me but made it a LONG ride for the Plant Pixie.

It is another example of Einstein's theory of relativity broken down into terms that we can all understand. In this case, hours of driving roads like this is FUN for the driver and torture for the passenger. Or as he stated: Two minutes of kissing one's best girl friend seems a lot shorter than two minutes of sitting on a hot stove.
