ok jerry I don't know the price so I don't have a perspective for it's relative value.
but for gods sake man, you don't know when that bus with your name on the banner is coming around the corner.
I have a neighbor, mid 50's very active biking etc who just had open heart surgery this week.
get off you wallet while you can.

I say go for it if you enjoy it more.
For your reference I bought a GPW/Tan 2003 S2000 last july with 60K miles for $15,700. This is before the economy really went down the toilet, but was already showing signs.

of course asking this crowd should I buy this car is like asking "should I have another drink?" at a bar in new orleans during mardi gras.

Jerry, sit in front of a mirror and make sure the person looking back at you understands the following...If you really and truly understand all of this and you still are not sure, then don't buy it. You don't want it enough.

Put it on your home equity LOC. The monthly payment will be Starbucks money. Write off the mortgage interest on your taxes. Ten years from now, car likely will still bring 20-25k dollars. Plus, ten years from now you'll forget this ever happened.
