Mike: Harmony One. There's also a "Harmony 1000", for twice the money; spiffy looking, but I don't know anything about it. HPH

I have had a Harmony 720 for the past 3 years. Its the bomb!!! Best device I have ever bought. Fully programmable, learns every device.

I cannot say enough good about a harmony remote. It is worth every penny.

Mine currently controls my tv,dvd recorder,blu-ray,direct tv satelite receiver,cd player, surround sound receiver, and my Wii. All controls work perfect and it replaces something like 7 different remotes on the coffee table, add in the rechargeable battery and its a winner all the way!

Whats even funnier is right before I clicked on this thread I was programming it to control the new Wii I bought recently.

The only reason I will eventually replace it is for another Harmony that is bluetooth capable the 720 is not. More and more devices are now coming with bluetooth enabled remotes instead of IR.

Another vote for Harmony. I have two, and love them.

Be forewarned, tho - the current remotes you use are function oriented - change volume, change channel, change to DVD input, etc.

The Harmony is TASK oriented - Watch DVD, Watch DirecTV, etc.

Takes a little getting used to but live with it for a while and you will never go back.

I've got two Harmony remotes (890 & 550), one for the master bedroom, and they work OK. Macros are great, but working with infrared is not.

"Universal Remote" is actually supposed to put out a good RF remote control--it can shoot through walls, and you can keep your cabinets closed if that's where you hide the components.

If you want to take the next step, check out Control4:

I am so glad to read this thread!! I've never even thought about a universal remote before. I'm the one with three remotes and I can never turn on the effing TV when I want to watch it. I hear it but don't ever know which button will do the magic trick.

I went to the Harmony one link (Thank you, DrCloud) and put in my model numbers. I'm getting one! Sounds like it will make a nice change for me.

I just ordered the Harmony One from Amazon.com. Free Super Saving Shipping. Cost: $195.77

...and to think I didn't even know I needed one. Ya never know what you're going to learn in Vintage.

Um, I just have one question. What's the + and - for around breasts? Is that to change the size?
