Video Camera
Hi Carmen,
Unfortunately I don't know much about the current crop of video cameras. I've always been more into still pictures as opposed to the moving ones, and have never owned a video camera.
I'd say consider what the others have said in previous posts, have a look at several online review sites to choose a few mfrs/models, and then head off to the camera stores to actually give each one a try. Be sure to think about how the camera fits in your hands (and Suzanne's), look closely at ease of use of the various controls and menus (if it takes 10 minutes to figure out how to do something, you're gonna miss the shot) and finally consider how to replay what you've shot. Is there a remote, and how easy is it to use? Does it fit your fingers?
Above all make sure you actually spend a fair amount of time playing with the cameras you are considering. That way you won't be likely to wind up with a bookend youand Suzanne never use.
