Deb, you can't see the CO house because it is all covered in snow!
Just kidding...I can see the picture of Patty's CO house just fine, and it looks very beautiful with all of the freshly fallen snow.
Patty...how do you think this Cali girl is going to like living in the snow? It will be quite a change from living in California.
(I can still remember when Dennis and I moved from San Francisco to Ithaca, NY, in 1968. That first winter was quite a shock to our systems!

You may enjoy the snow, Patty. I lived in an area where it snowed every winter all my life until we moved south. I grew very weary of the feeling of confinement due to snow and ice. Of course, we lived in a city whose nickname was the "Hill City" and we lived at the bottom of a very steep hill. When that hill iced over there was no going/coming and I was often stuck having to stay home for at least 3-4 days. I got sick of it and even with a 4wd it was practically impossible to get out of the neighborhood. I like it much better in this climate and even if we do get a little snow every few years it only lasts a day. I can deal with that.
Winter is showing up at our door step this weekend. VERY cold Temps in the teens on Friday night YUCK!
Patty, I think your set up is great. Enjoy it as long as you can. I would be content to never see a snow flake again.

^Maybe this broken foot is the Great Spirit's way of getting me used to being homebound for days. Then, when I finally do get home to Colorado, I'll be a pro at it. The only big difference is I can go outside in so Cal and enjoy the weather. In Colorado I already missed my patio plants and fountain. My Colorado hills view is pretty out the windows but that would get old.
^If I didn't have my sister, son and daughter there in Colorado I wouldn't have bought a house there. I was looking forward to Thanksgiving but now I'll be lucky if I get back for Christmas.
