I’m in Springdale, UT. The temp peaked at 108 this afternoon while I was at Zion NP. It’s a pleasant 82 now.

^ Ugh...beautiful here today. Lower humidity and 84. Going back to 90ish soon, though.

yeah but that's a dry roast. Moab was a really cool little town.

We decided to take July off and head out here to Portland, Oregon to see our son. Fortunately, very pleasant weather here.

Even when it gets into the mid-eighties it is OK because there is usually and breeze and VERY low humidity.

We love it here!

^ It is lovely...my cousin has a spectacular house on the ocean in Cannon Beach.

We have had no rain in almost three weeks - until yesterday! Got 2.6" at National Airport in 42 min. Quite a flooded mess for awhile. Cars were stranded on the GW Pkwy.

We had lots of rain yesterday...all day and a lot of last night. I think our drought may be over. National Airport got 4", a record for the day. Dulles hit a monthly record of 5".

Have been checking the weather in France (Paris and points north) for our trip. Looking pretty hot in Paris the first day (about 90), but low 80s/low 60s the rest of the time. I can deal with that.

Summer humidity is here, lots of rain today but even though it cooler, dew points are still yucky.
