Went to the commissary with the +1. Just got back. It's only about ten minutes away, but I was afraid the popsicles would melt before we got home. Whew, it's really hot already...93, feels like 98!

Very good savings. The commissary is a huge benefit. Having it so close to us is really nice.

The County fire near us, which was 8000 acres Saturday night, is now over 70,000 acres. No homes lost-yet. Our off-shore breeze has returned and smoke is now blowing it away from us. Sunday the ash looked like snow.

And it continues....We met two NE couples in Canton, MA at a brewery where gourmet hot dogs were being offered. We didn't last long outside....had to get out of the sun/heat. We did leave the top of the p car down in our travels, but it was HOT! Back at home I tried sitting on the deck under the awning. I finally gave up. Too damn hot. Temp says 92, feels like 100. I came in to soak up the AC and take yet another shower. I don't know how people live in the south. Can't wait for this heat to be gone. Not a fan.
