The Vintage Weather Thread
I can't remember what thread the link to Gene's blog is in - anyone? Today hotter than yesterday here. Gonna be 97, with a heat index of 107. Ugh...we spent awhile yesterday after lunch with the nephew and family inside our party room here at the condo, so the girls could play and run around in the cool. They had fun.
The County fire near us, which was 8000 acres Saturday night, is now over 70,000 acres. No homes lost-yet. Our off-shore breeze has returned and smoke is now blowing it away from us. Sunday the ash looked like snow.

And it continues....We met two NE couples in Canton, MA at a brewery where gourmet hot dogs were being offered. We didn't last long outside....had to get out of the sun/heat. We did leave the top of the p car down in our travels, but it was HOT! Back at home I tried sitting on the deck under the awning. I finally gave up. Too damn hot. Temp says 92, feels like 100. I came in to soak up the AC and take yet another shower. I don't know how people live in the south. Can't wait for this heat to be gone. Not a fan.
